Oskar K.

Oskar Kavanagh is an energetic and dedicated certified lifeguard with a lifelong passion for aquatics and water safety. Currently a Grade 10 student at Nepean High School (graduating June 2028), Oskar brings nine years of experience as a competitive diver, giving him exceptional strength and the physical stamina to swim 50 meters in under 50 seconds. He is highly certified through the Lifesaving Society, holding credentials as a National Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Airway Management provider, alongside Standard First Aid and CPR-C. Oskar has already demonstrated strong community leadership and safety management as a children's coach and lifeguard with the Nepean Ottawa Diving Club. In this role, he successfully taught fundamental skills, motivated young athletes to build confidence, and strictly enforced pool safety rules. Fluent in English with a working knowledge of French, Oskar communicates effectively and is eager to apply his advanced training, athletic strength, and enthusiasm to keep swimmers safe.
