I have been a swim instructor for 2 years working with children and adults from ages 2 all the way to 85. I have had special needs children in my classes. I was able to quickly change my lesson plans to accommodate them. I worked as a pool lifeguard during my time as a swim instructor and as a pool and beach lifeguard during the summer. When teaching I try to find a way to incorporate games into the lesson whilst teaching all of the material. When lifeguarding I tried to put the patrons needs as much as possible and explained when they could not be met. I was a competitive swimmer for four years at ROCS Carlton. When I have free time I enjoy reading,cooking and exercising.
