I am a 17-year-old swim instructor with two summers of experience teaching at the Port Kells outdoor pool. I am passionate about teaching swimming because it allows me to help children develop confidence, water safety skills, and a lifelong appreciation for being active. Watching swimmers progress and achieve personal milestones is extremely rewarding. Through this position, I hope to continue strengthening my leadership, communication, and instructional skills while providing a safe, supportive, and high-quality experience for every client. In addition to my work in aquatics, I have spent the past two summers in an outdoor education program and volunteered in Nepal at an orphanage, where I helped teach and lead camps. My hobbies include playing volleyball, hiking, and fishing, which reflect my strong interest in teamwork, outdoor activity, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
